The Duke Photography website offers our clients secure online access to two distinct types of images: Stock images from our Digital Image Library, and images obtained through individual Photo Assignment requests.
Stock Images: High resolution, professional quality images residing in our Digital Stock Library for general perusal, purchase and use. The Digital Image Library can be searched from the left hand side frame on our Home Page using keywords and categories. Selected images can be securely purchased via Duke Procurement card for immediate high resolution download to your desktop.
Assignment Images: Images produced as a result of a Photo Assignment requested by a specific individual or department. Images from an assignment, or “shoot”, are securely posted only to the individual(s) who requested the assignment. Assignments can be requested from the “Photo Assignments: Request Now” frame on the left hand side of our Home Page.
Know what “side” you’re on: Our site therefore has two “sides” to it: a Stock side and an Assignments side. Stock searches and purchases are handled through your “My Stock”, while your Assignments images are accessed via your “My Shoots”. You must be signed-in (Duke User) or registered (Non-Duke user) to take full advantage of either My Shoots or My Stock.
